Basso & Brooke recently presented their Fall 2010 collection during London Fashion Week. As you view the collection one cannot help but wonder where their inspiration for lots and lots of color started? Perhaps it was a result of their sweet mothers upgrading the Crayola box purchase from 12 to 64….

London Fashion Week is coming to an end today but not before the Burberry Prorsum, Fall 2010 collection struts the catwalk with some of the most beautiful outerwear on the planet.

O.K. GTGG it is time to rally…. Zac Posen, yes THE Zac Posen-designer extraordinaire, is debuting his Target line for the good old U.S. of A. on April 25th. Price points for the collection start at $39.99 and top out at $79.99…and YES, you are reading the numbers correctly. I know-it’s like a fashion miracle…Zac Posen designs for under $80.00?? (Pinch me-on second thought don’t…there are a lot of sleeveless looks in his collection and I don’t want to be black and blue…) but I digress……
Zac, has created a fun, edgy, colorful collection for Target U.S. and just between you and I, it is so much more vibrant than his Australian collection (see GTGG 1/29/10 for the Australian Look Book) .

We are nearing the end of February and by now if you live in a cold climate the excitement of wearing your new winter coat and thigh high boots is starting to wane. You are looking ahead, longing for warmer weather and more importantly wearing the new chiffon top in that perfect sky blue color that will be all the rage in May. Oscar, you have done it again! Your fall 2010 collection was quintessential….”De la Renta,”- composed of the most luxurious fabrics known to man, interesting pattern play, impeccable tailoring and classic silhouettes. Oh Oscar! Bravo!
Yards and yards of tulle, breathtaking beading, fluttering folds of feathers, and Organza that almost looks origami… Yes my darling Glamour Girl- you’re not in Kansas anymore but instead you have landed smack dab in the middle of the fall 2010 collection from Marchesa. Georgiana Chapman designer and creator of the line also know as (Ms. Harvey Weinstein) is like our resident fairy God Mother creating confections spun so beautifully that you will almost feel transported to another Fahsionland, where everything is beautifully made, looks light as air and by merely putting on one of her creations you become instantly Glamorous.
Derek Lam’s, Fall 2010 Collection was very western inspired, very rich in fabrications (leathers, suede’s and rich woolens) and filled with ”fringe detail.” Maybe he was so excited about the collection he just got a little-scissor happy!
New York Fashion Week has only a few more days for designers, models, celebs, celeb-wanna-be’s, and assorted other style seekers to partake. With the Oscars a mere month away you can bet your Rachel Zoe half drunk latte that stylists ( including our 83 pound Zoester are running at full tilt to find the perfect dress for those lucky nominees. Now as a favor to all you Glamour Girls I have perused the collections at Carolina Herrera, Badley Mischka, Donna Karan and others to come to the great and grand conclusion that no one has come close to the Fabulousness of darling of darlings- Monique Lhuillier. Honey, that girl sure knows how to make a dress that says GORGEOUS…so here are just a few to feast your fashion eyes on…..ENJOY!
