Oprah announces her “favorite things” every holiday season. Before the strike of midnight on Halloween and the onset of Holiday shopping beginning at full throttle I would like to take a moment and spotlight 2 of my favorite things…(Fashionably speaking of course)! The designs of Murad Zuhair…(which by the number of comments on my previous posts about this designer totaling over 500- I think we are all in agreement concerning the man;s design flair for Glamour!) My other favorite thing would have to be photographer Mario Sierra-the talented eye behind every photo spread of Murad’s Designs. Enjoy!
If you want to “grab” every ones attention this Halloween, opt for this Ezekiel Braclet complete with bone chilling grip.
Master Tom Ford has done it again. On my post of October 6, 2010 I told you about Tom’s latest venture for the Holidays available at Saks: His Black Orchid Trio. Although a bit pricey $140.00-consider this: when your finished using the products you can recycle his cases by putting them under a glass dome and hang them on the wall as art. . The man is a design genius.

Anna Wintour has gone Eco-“friendly.” Now uttering the word “friendly” in any relative vicinity of Ms. Wintour might be a bit of a stretch….But, I am here to tell you Glamour Girls that Anna has thoroughly embraced the concept of Saving the Earth by using environmentally friendly techniques to make fashion…(Well, at least for the November 2010 issue that is). Now don’t go overboard and envision Anna’s minions weaving straw hats and hemp skirts in some dark corner at Vogue but instead Anna does what she does BEST….she calls on her A-Team of chemically free, violence free, solar powered, gold recycled fashion designers….Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney and Vera Wang (Any of those names ring a bell? Thought So! ) Rest assured- all this “Saving the Earth” comes at a price… (Remember this is Anna at the helm) and honey it isn’t cheap. All the items featured in the November issue run anywhere between $995.00 to $2,995.00. Hey, Saving the Earth costs. But just think how much friendlier Anna will be while saving the environment…
P.S. Should Anyone catch Anna hugging a tree ..CALL ME!

Yesterday I received a “hot tip” from my dear friend Pat-a true Glamour Girl and Beauty Bonanza Queen. Pat has more beauty tips than Demi Moore-(except Ms. Moore professes that she is aging naturally without any help… surgical or product wise…Love you Demi, but you look younger than your daughter “Rumor”…but back on point). Pat told me about this amazing and AFFORDABLE product that does dual duty to a Glamour Girl’s Lashes and it’s rivaling the more expensive Latisse. Seems that L’Oreal has brought out the magnificent Double Extend Mascara where one end of this magic wand is the white growth serum- that you first coat your lashes with, while the opposite end is the actual mascara to give your lashes color and depth. I have taken note online of all the reviews and I am here to tell you that the product is LONG LASH WORTHY!!! The best part: You can skip into your nearest drugstore and purchase this magic wand for under $15.00.
That my dear Glamour Girl is no RUMOR! Try it today!
