A Bright Future…

Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were happy and filled with family, fun and some fabulous fashion.

Another year is upon us and we can start with a clean slate. I thought it might be a nice change that instead of making a long list of New Years Resolutions (that most people can’t keep beyond January 3), why not try something easy and attainable. How about thinking just a tad outside the box-or in this case the closet and do a little bit of updating to your current look?

If there is one trend that is going to be BIG for 2012 it’s the use of BRIGHT colors. Think Hot Pink, Electric Blue, Show Stopping Yellow…you get the picture-your basic color palette but amped up to the highest wattage. You don’t have to go overboard and wear head-to- toe NEON (no need to be bright enough to bring in a plane) but how about adding a spot of color to jazz things up.

You needn’t wait till temperatures soar into the 70’s, you can add a hot pink pump with a dark pair of jeans, or put on a ravishing red halter top under a velvet blazer and whah-lah you are instantly updated not to mention keeping your resolution in check. A little “oomph” of color might just be the ticket to keep your disposition on the sunny side through the long  winter months.
