Perusing Pretty Prints for Spring!

Posted By: Terri
Category: Designer Spotlight

Whenever I come across a site that I think is Glamour worthy and uber stylish, I just have to blog about it because that’s the  whole point of having a blog/”Style Sharing” coupled with my belief that once we slide into the month of March we are OVER Winter and ready for  some major Spring Style.

To quell your craving for Spring fashion I found  a bevy of absolutely beautiful print dresses on a site I just came across a few days ago and have been perusing it ever since: https://www.sikadesigns.co.uk

The site is  out of the UK and before you get worried about ordering overseas, I am here to tell you that the site is legit, offers items that are  handmade/ made to order AND the best part…. the prices are AFFORDABLE (even with the dollar conversion). They ship International (translation over to the US) for a flat rate and the styles are sooooo pretty.

I hope these pretty prints will give you a lift and inspire you and per chance you may want to order yourself a little happy from their site… it won’t break the bank and you’ll be twirling to your hearts content in any these beautiful creations.

Craving Veronica Beard….

Posted By: Terri
Category: Designer Spotlight

Are you familiar with Veronica Beard? If not then let me introduce you to one designer that has her finger on the pulse of everything hip with a major dose of chic.  I’ve had my eye on this designer for the past year and I’m here to tell you -she is one designer to watch! Although her clothing runs a bit on the pricey side they are well made and tailored to perfection.

This week, the Veronica Beard I heart NY Blazer made the rounds on Instagram and became an instant sensation when Hoda  Kotb showed up sporting this blazer in black on Hoda & Jenna. Although it has a side of whimsey with the monogram on the back, it would serve as a fun wardrobe staple that you can wear for years to come.

I’ve also sourced a few other Veronica Beard blazers for you  to peruse below- 2 that are ON SALE (our favorite four letter word).  Click on over to her site for her entire Fall collection and SALE ITEMS that are deeply discounted. https://veronicabeard.com/

NYFW “Garden Party”

Posted By: Terri

Well,well,well..it looks like we missed one heck of a fabulous garden party last week!

One of my very favorite designers -Christian Siriano, hosted his  Spring 2021 collection in his backyard last Thursday and it was clearly the talk of the town.  Social distancing was kept intact with chairs placed the required 6 feet apart  and alongside each chair was placed a beautiful picnic basket (which I’m sure was filled with an assortment of tasty treats) for viewers to enjoy as they watched the show go down the runway. I have no doubt that the entire event was a breath of fresh air fashion and also provided some important messaging. Here’s a sneak peak..

Tadashi Shoji Resort 2020 -Spot ON!

Posted By: Terri
Category: Designer Spotlight

I needed a little dose of “happy” today and I thought best to go to one of my favorite uplifting remedies…VOGUE! Upon perusing the site I came upon this delightful collection by Tadashi Shoji ,that is covered in spots and  is oh so pretty. I realllllly needed some fashion Inspo other than  the usual lounge wear or at home “comfort clothing” that the internet seems to be deluged with as of late.  Someday …we will need to get up and go somewhere and a girl can never be to ready to look chic.

I feel so much better now and I hope you do too!  Click on any image to view the entire collection on Vogue.com. Enjoy!

Trend Alert..Bigger is Back @ Chanel

Posted By: Terri
Category: Designer Spotlight

Is it me or are the 90’s making a comeback when it comes to jewelry trends for Spring and Fall 2020?

Wayyyy back then… (in the 1990’s), jewelry was big and bold and definitely made a statement. Take a sneak peak at the Chanel Spring & Fall 2020 Collections  and you may notice that the jewelry featured looks verrrry similar to pieces inspired by the 1990’s. It’s bold and seriously  statement worthy.

Which leaves me to wonder..will shoulder pads be next. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
