Anne Hathaway-The Queen of Quick Change!

Anne arrives to the Oscars in Valentino

Anne Hathaway is one quick change artist. I don’t know who was changing fashion(s) faster-Ms. Hathaway or her stylist Rachel Zoe?  Anne was a “vision” on stage with no less than 7 changes during the Oscars. She arrived wearing  a ravishing red Valentino, gown which brought the grand total for the evening to equal 8 wardrobe changes.

Anne in Armani Prive'

Anne in Gorgeous Givenchy...

Annie in Atelier Versace

Annie in Oscar de la Renta!

Anne in Tom Ford.

Annie in a Lanvin Tux and Brian Atwood Pumps.

Annie in Vivianne Westwood

It must be a difficult  balance (fashionably speaking)  when your stylist is BFF to so many in the biz  (aka…Valentino, Vivianne Westwood, Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford (who P.S. just opened a new store in Beverly Hills 2 nights before -that the Zoester attended), Lanvin, Brian Atwood (P.S.S.  Zoe and Brian are major BFF’s- he designed a boot and named it after her). Imagine that everyone you know has a gown//pantsuit/shoe/purse…etc…etc…etc. that could get worldwide exposure by appearing on  your client who is a Co- Host  at the Academy Awards. Think of how many fashionestas are tuning into  this night of nights in Hollywood and it is your job to not only dress the host, but style her outfit in such a way that EVERYONE will be calling said designer  to purchase  it- the morning after. Think of all the photographs  being taken and transmitted worldwide..via  facebook, twitter, and of course fahsion blogs,  at ZERO cost  out of the designers advertising budget.  We are talking billions of viewers and millions of dollars of free publicity! Now, decide which “fashion friends” you are going to feature on your client to make her look her very best and at the same time narrow the field to the most enticing selections. Talk about working overtime! All I can say is: Job well done Rachel Zoe and Anne Hathaway. You deserve a large dose of designer downtime.

Jennifer Garner,Anne Hathaway and Jessica Biel..Beautiful!

The Valentine’s Day Premiere was this week and I must say the girls went all out to look beyond beautiful! Too bad the movie isn’t as “enchanting” as the Red Carpet Fashions at the premiere.  Critics are chiming in that the movie itself is a clunker but let’s face…..

Fashion Film Facts

If the movie you are currently in flops-thank heaven you looked GREAT at the premiere…becasue isn’t that what we will all remember anyway….

OH Tony!

Posted By: Terri
Category: Uncategorized

Last night the lights were Bright on Broadway. It was Tony Awards night and I am here to tell you that stylist or no stylist the babes of Broadway delivered. For the most part everyone looked great-but think about it…the Tony’s are held in New York-our countries fashion capital –so if you can’t find fashion there you won’t find it anywhere…Women for the most part in New York know how to dress!  (Except for maybe that one fashion misstep on the Statue of Liberty clothed in a robe, tassel and Birkenstocks, but thank goodness she’s way out there on the water and not officially in the fashion capital  …so we’re safe).

The best look of the night was Anne Hathaway-gorgeous in an Oscar de la Renta gown and the perfect red satin pump…I think the pump was Kate Spade but not sure, “Anne lift your heel and let me look at the inscription on the sole”…Also loved, loved, loved Marcia Gay Harden in Carmen Marc Valvo.

The worst-or how shall I say “near miss” of the night would have to be Edie Falco in Nicole Miller Now I do love Edie but the gathered dress with the gold trim on the hem was not my favorite. It might have worked if there was a fabulous neck piece that brought the whole look together. Something with some jewels in the same two tones of the dress. It looks like she got dressed in a hurry-maybe she did-she has a new show called Nurse Jackie and maybe they just took the blue scrubs from the set and gathered them together for the dress. It’s just a guess. Maybe next year Edie!
