Did you know about this latest food craze?I guess we can forget cheese plates and passed Hors d’oeuvres—it’s all about the Grazing Table!

If you’re not familiar with this latest culinary trend, let me break it down for you. It’s called the Grazing Table. Basically, it’s an “epic abundance of food meant for grazing. Tables are filled to the brim with a bevy of fresh fruits, veggies, breads, sliced meats, crackers, antipasto, relishes, sweets,sushi-whatever your heart and food preference desires. Grazing tables originally started in Australia, and began first popping up at weddings here in America. The art of grazing is growing so quickly that you can hire a catering company to put your table together or do it yourself.

The grazing table gives you options galore as to what type of grazing you want to do. All you need to do is decide what type of food you want to serve and go from there. I have a feeling this grazing phenomenon might just be the perfect party solution for taking us all off of social media and making us all more social in person. Here’s to Grazing.

Category: Fashionable Food/Recipes

Before you can say…Holiday (sing it like Madonna did) it will be Thanksgiving and then the grand pooh bah of holidays Christmas… To that end I think it’s high time we start sorting out some easy and delish recipes for all those holiday get togethers. Here is one I made last weekend and I am here to tell you it is FABULOUS and so.o.o.o easy. Let’s get the party started. If you don’t need this recipe right now BOOKMARK IT-you will so be thanking me in the next few weeks.

1/2 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 Cup pecan halves, roughly chopped
One 3-inch round, Brie cheese

Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter in a small, heavy-bottomed saucepan set over medium heat. Stir mixture until it comes to a boil. Boil gently, without stirring, for 1 minute.

Remove from heat and, shielding hands with oven mitts, quickly whisk in baking soda. Stir in salt and pecans until mixture begins to set, about 30 seconds.Working quickly, mound warm nut mixture on top of Brie and let caramel cascade down sides of cheese.
