If you had to describe the Spring 2015 collection from BCBG  Max Azria in four words it would have to be:”Go with the flow.” If pressed to a one word statement-it would be BEAUTIFUL!

BCBG Max Azria Spring Colleciton 2012

It’s New York Fashion Week for Spring 2012. The collections have just started to grace the catwalk and I’m here to tell you that Spring 2012 looks verr.r.r.y bright. Warm weather naturally inspires a vibrant palette and Spring 2012,has hints of color from the greatest designer of all…Mother Nature, including  sky blue, orange melon, sunny yellow and more. Of course you do have your standard bright white and basic black but for the most part collections are infusing jolts of colors and prints that will make you long for more warm weather days ahead.

Herve Leger & Chocolate!

Posted By: Terri
Category: Designer Spotlight

I’m sending a box of chocolates to Herve Leger. Why you ask? Well as the story goes Herve is a bit miffed that models wearing his once famous designs aka bandage dress, are looking “sad and skinny.”

To give you a little Glamour Girl background: Herve Leger(design) was acquired by the BCBG Max Azria Group in 1998. In 2007 Max Azria relaunched the Herve Leger brand under his own label and since then has continued to show the “bandage dress” in his collections-(which brings us to the sad and skinny part of the story).   BCBG/Max Azria, -chooses to use models on his catwalk that are VERY THIN, (who are we kidding- the girls are hedging on looking gaunt and malnourished). I can only surmise that when one is starving and longing for a single morsel of solid sustenance they may be less than happy i.e. SAD! Anywho…Mr. Herve Leger would like to see his original concept of the bandage dress worn on women with curves. If you remember the original bandage dress was worn by the super-est of the supermodels- Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell.

In celebration of Mr. Leger advocating women with curves-I feel it only “fitting” to send him a beautiful box of chocolates….Enjoy!
