Today’s Tuesday Tip is all about the Delightful Daybed.
The holidays are just around the corner and there’s always that possibility of an overnight guest needing a place to stay. The daybed is the perfect solution for offering a secluded space for one and at the same time can be put in dual purpose setting because the daybed doesn’t actually look like a bed and can be a welcome addition to just about any living space in your home.
Daybeds can be found in a bevy of price points ranging from $500-$5,000,but you needn’t spend a fortune to make your daybed look luxe. Simply by adding some beautiful pillows, cover the bed with a comfy duvet or bedspread (preferably tucked in if the daybed you have has a mattress) and add a major pop of decor like an impressive overhead canopy or some pretty eye catching rugs, coffee or side tables and whah lah…you have a room ready for any guest to feel welcome and pampered.
If you’re looking for a little daybed dreaminess, here are a few examples that I hope will inspire.
