Happy Monday. Well, well, well …Here we are starting another week and faster than you can blink we will be sitting down for Thanksgiving Dinner. Blink again and it will be Christmas.
The holidays are always a busy time but this year it appears that holiday decorating and celebrating are commencing a bit earlier than usual. Have you noticed how many Black Friday Sales are already in full sale mode!
Not one to lag behind, I wanted to give you a little dose of “Glam Inspo” from none other than the lovely people at Vogue. The December issue is celebrating the return of Sex and the City and has the most beautiful photo spread of Sarah Jessica Parker gracing the cover and a gorgeous photo spread inside.

What did you do this weekend? Welllll, I got busy and thought to myself-what can I do to help this whole Corona virus debacle, (as we are now required to wear face masks in the greater LA area). After about a nano second, I thought best to insert some STYLE into the face mask situation. Fast forward and a number of hours later-I drafted a pattern, cut cotton fabrications and top stitched every detail for extra measure and whah lah-Stylish face masks were ready for the masses. To sweeten the deal and also do some good in the world, I have decided to donate a portion of each and every sale to one wonderful and worthy cause –Baby2Baby.
Check out additional styles on my Go To Glamour Girl and Terri Turco Facebook Page.
Here’s a sweet sampling of my offerings below:

Just a little something to start your week off with a bit of sparkle…because let’s face it… the holidays are right around the corner and we all know that THAT is the Season of BLING!

Halloween is right around the corner. If per chance you’re looking for something that’s more “Couture” than “Camp” here are a few options you might want to consider…
Looking for a little comfort dressing on the day AFTER Christmas? If you’re like any other mortal you may have eaten just a little too much on Christmas day and you’re not exactly at your goal weight the morning after. No Glamour Girl wants anyone to know that perhaps you dipped into the dessert platter just a few times too many-so here are a few stylish solutions found in one wonderful wardrobe items to get you through the day in comfort and style. Enter..tah dah dah dah…the DUSTER. It is the number one wardrobe staple that you can wear over anything. Yep, we’re talking pants, jeans, skirts, dresses-I think you get the picture -a high fashion camouflage that allows you to hide a few unwanted bumps but still look sleek.
Look what came in the mail today. My dear friend Stephen sent me these beautiful pillows after he spotted them and said: “I just had to have them.” I must say they are uber stylish and I ask…who doesn’t love a surprise gift when they bring a bit of fashion to your decor. Thank you Stephen.
Taraji P. Henson in Alberta Ferretti
Happy Monday. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are in the recovery phase of last night’s Oscar telecast. I firmly advocate the viewing of all things related to the Oscars and when it comes to the actual day of the show I’m pretty much in a “no fly zone”” to anything that would take my eye off the prize or in this case the fashion unless of course it’s an emergency of epic proportions. Yes…I AM ONE OF THOSE-I watch the pre show, the actual show and the post show -because just between us-the post show often allows attendees to change attire and you reallllly don’t want to miss a moment of fashion. I KNOW this may sound that I’m merely steps away from some sort of fashion detox aka 12 step program but rest assured I only do this once a year. PROMISE!
Bearing in mind that there was so much fashion I must say that this year …for me there were only a few that really left a major impression. Sooo lucky for you this will be “the short list” and if you want more you can find gowns galore from last nights Oscars all over the web.
First and foremost the hands down best dressed of the evening was Taraji P. Henson in Alberta Feretti. It was simple, elegant, figure flattering and in a word perfection. End of discussion
Second on my list was the wonderful Emma Stone. Beauuutiful beyond words in Givenchy Haute Couture. STUNNNING!

Third and this one surprised me until she was on stage because on the Red Carpet I couldn’t get the full effect was Brie Larson in Oscar De La Renta.

Also on the list was Viola Davis… Sleek, simple lines, well fitted and figure flattering. Loved it!

Finally… and this one pains me on so many level. The one look that I thought was overkill. It was just tooooo much. To much bling, to much fabric for the actresses small frame, the crown and the necklace all too much and too heavy. Janelle Monoe is a beautiful woman but the look was overkill. So sorry Janelle-you are lovely the dress didn’t bring out the best in you. I noticed the dress and not you. Not the way it should be. (at least for me). All images courtesy of Bazaar.com

If you’ve never heard of her or her fabulous designs you’ve probably witnessed her wonderful work in numerous fashion illustrations from your favorite luxury retailers. The woman has style with a capital S. Megan also has a product line of ultra fabulous items (although a bit pricey) but fabulously fashionable and clearly collector worthy.
