A Prayer from me to you…

Words that resonate for the Better… in and for ALL of us. 

I came across a quote this morning and thought it couldn’t be more appropriate in light of the election results finally being in and a promise that Change is  truly on it’s way.

It is my deepest hope that our country and our collective well being is on  a path to healing and living better lives in the days to come.

Have a great Monday and “If you can’t see the Change…Be the change.” 

It all starts within each of us.

Monday Mood & Tips to get you through…

Hello Monday! Did you ever have one of those nights when you didn’t sleep a wink. Wellll that was me last night -suffice it to say this is pretty much my mood today. Try as we all may to make this a great day…tired or not! WIshing you a vibrant week ahead. xoT

Tips to get you through the day when you didn’t sleep the night before:

  1. Drink lots of water…I mean like Titanic amounts of water. Hydrate hydrate hydrate. It will cleanse your system and keep you going. If you add  a squirt of organic lemon to your water all the better!
  2. Exercise. I know you’re probably thinking Yeah right. I’m exhausted BUT moving the body keeps you moving throughout the day. You don’t have to run a marathon, go for a brisk walk, lift some light weights. Just get your metabolism up .
  3. Cold Water Splash:  My Mother always told me after getting up-“Go and splash some cold water on your face.” I’m here to say that she was spot on with this one. Not only does the cold water revitalize your pores but it certainly does wake you up.
  4. Eat Healthy: I know it sounds like a no brainer but a lack of sleep makes us numb to our senses and by senses I mean we crave sweets.
  5. Quick Nap: If at all possible try and take a 20 minute nap sometime during the day but preferably in the afternoon. If you make it past 4 PM  without closing your eyes for a moment then just muscle through till bedtime.
  6. Get to Bed Early: Turn off the computer and ALL electronic devices no later than 7 PM. Try  a bath with lavender Epsom salts, do some nighttime yoga or sip on some Sleepy time tea. You get the picture-UNPLUG and get in slumber mode.

Happy Monday. I hope you had a good weekend and are starting another week feeling happy and healthy.

Last night I watched one of my favorite movies AGAIN, because quite frankly I needed a little lift  and I was reminded of this wonderful quote .

We must be the LEADING LADY  in our own life. Don’t take a back seat to anyone or anything. You have a wonderful purpose to pursue and my hope is that each day you will show up and live to be the best version of YOU.xoT

A message of Hope during these  challenging times….

Happy Monday!

I came upon this lovely quote  and thought it was the perfect reminder to get our week started off in the right direction and perhaps provide a modicum of hope, which I believe we are all in need of at this very moment.

We must continue to remain vigilant during this epidemic by wearing  face masks, being  mindful of social distancing and  do our best to avoid crowds.

It is my deepest hope that someday soon, everything will  work out (they will find a vaccine that works with no harmful side effects, jobs are restored and the economy stars flourishing again) when  we can finally embrace a world that is  kinder, healthier, happier and more abundant  than ever before.
