Just a little something to think about….

If you’re looking for a few suggestions on how to start a new endeavor or perhaps revisit a goal that you’ve had on the back burner, here are a few suggestions to get you going in the direction of your dreams.

1.Write it down. I know this is not new , but the number one way to get yourself motivated and to serve as a sort of “road map” to your dream is to WRITE IT DOWN. That means taking pen to paper and  write as specifically as possible what you want to attain.

2. Baby Steps:  Set  a specific time  aside each day to work toward this goal. I highly recommend  committing to your schedule –10 minutes each day to focus on an action toward attaining your goal. More times than not -this 10 minutes will turn into a longer session of productivity. The whole point of this exercise is to get yourself to consistently show up.

3. Block out Negativity:  Shut off any inner conversation with yourself and those of other  that say: You can’t do whatever your goal is…because(insert a  plethora of reasons). Only share your ideas and ask for suggestions from those that can offer support and some guidance or constructive feedback.

4. Be Open to learning: There are so many avenues and resources  via the Internet . If  you need  to learn a new skill, research information or searching for resources to buy sell or complete your project there are a bevy of resources available at your fingertips-all you need do is  “Google.”

3.  Visualize: See the end result. This serves to keep you motivated and focused. As the saying goes…Keep your “Eye on the Prize.”

A message of Hope during these  challenging times….

Happy Monday!

I came upon this lovely quote  and thought it was the perfect reminder to get our week started off in the right direction and perhaps provide a modicum of hope, which I believe we are all in need of at this very moment.

We must continue to remain vigilant during this epidemic by wearing  face masks, being  mindful of social distancing and  do our best to avoid crowds.

It is my deepest hope that someday soon, everything will  work out (they will find a vaccine that works with no harmful side effects, jobs are restored and the economy stars flourishing again) when  we can finally embrace a world that is  kinder, healthier, happier and more abundant  than ever before.

Here’s to hope!

Another week is upon us and as hard as it may be to stay motivated while we continue to live in Pandemic limbo (at least that’s what I call it) – I find that’s  it’s a good  idea to start the work week off  with a renewed sense of focus.  During these times of lock down- it’s good to keep your “eye on the prize” as they say and focus yourself at the start of each week on a plan of success.  Here’s the”short list” of streamlined items to keep you focused on bringing out the best in you.

Monday Motivation

Hello Monday! A new week and I hope and pray this week will bring more peace and happiness to all .

These have been challenging times to say the least. We are still dealing with this horrible virus and just as we began to reemerge into some sort of “new normal” the tragic and senseless death of George Floyd  brought about  protests, violence and anger in our nation.

I do not consider violence a solution on any level but support Peaceful Protests for positive change. At the end of the day, I hope and pray that the world will become a kinder and more caring place in which we try to understand and settle our differences with understanding and love.

Wishing you a healthy. happy and productive week ahead with many moments filled with love. .
