Goodness knows we could all use a little does of HAPPY and Pumpkins are one of those Decor items that bring joy! Below are a few pumpkin pairings that  I hope will inspire you to “pretty up” your pumpkins for Fall. Happy decorating!

Halloween Pumpkin Prep…

FUN FACT….

Halloween is the second most celebrated holiday of the entire year! Christmas still holds the number one spot but seriously (????) Halloween has out -spotted Thanksgiving in the scheme of holiday celebrations!?  THAT is making quite a statement.

Halloween’s style quota  has exploded in terms of  Halloween costumes available for ADULTS, massive and might I add outlandish Halloween parties, and indoor and outdoor decor.

And….speaking of holiday decor..did you get the memo that carving pumpkins  is no more. At the very least there seems to be a major push to paint your pumpkins and if you have the artistic skills of Picasso-well all the better. I could not believe my eyes when I came upon this assortment of pumpkins that would be perfect for porch display.

If you’re looking to put down your pumpkin carving knife and paint a fantastical design this Halloween, here are a few  painted pumpkin options that I hope  will inspire.

I LOVE Fall. How about you? There’s just something so wonderful about the season. The cooler air, the changing leaves and PUMPKINS! I mean seriously, who doesn’t love pumpkins?

Living in LA, we don’t  experience the cool crisp days associated with Fall until sometime in November. (Cold weather climates..Pleeeeezzzz don’t hate me for stating this fact).

That being said, the month of October brings with it a number of lovely fall mementos that one should not ignore but instead partake in …no matter what the official temperature reading is outside.

Here’s the short list of 5 fabulous fall items to enjoy right this very minute….

Number ONE! Decorate with pumpkins..it’s the perfect prop for outdoor decor and transitions perfectly right into Thanksgiving.

Number TWO: Bake or buy some YUMMY pumpkin baked goods…
