Hello Monday. It’s back to work !

Speaking of work …did you know that 43% of Americans work from home! Bearing in mind that  a home office is almost a requirement these days, I thought it might be nice to post some wonderful work spaces that inspire! If you’re looking  to do a little sprucing UP for Spring, I’ve sourced a bevy of beautiful images  & BONUS- my top three items that every home office should have to make your day productive and pleasurable.

When it comes to having a work space that inspires creativity and productivity, here are a few features you want to keep in mind when upgrading your space:

  1. A comfortable  office chair . You’re going to be doing allot of sitting in that chair so it best be comfortable and if per chance it has a bit of style…all the better.  Gone are the days of sitting in a standard  swivel chair with lackluster style. Today you can use a bevy of beautiful seating alternatives to get to  your Chair Bliss.
  2. A desk that fits your space and your needs: At the bare minimum you have to have a desk or table big enough for your computer and offers a space for you to write. That’s the minimum. It needs to be the right width and height so you can work comfortably.
  3. Lighting:  Good lighting is key! Natural light is  an added bonus in any room not to mention looking outside and seeing a bit of nature is always inspiring.

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. I have been doing some major Spring cleaning lately and really see more and more that you need less and less to be happy. There is something about the lack of clutter than gives you clarity. So on this beautiful Monday morning and in keeping with the “less is more” credo I wanted to feature three very minimal work spaces to get us all inspired to sort out or work space.
